It's startling how fast RedDwarf falls into your patterns. You've known each other for all of maybe a minute or two of operation and his tactical decisions somehow perfectly align with yours. Or maybe it's the other way around? All you know is, the minute you need a foe occupied, he violently demands their full attention no matter what he was doing before, and the minute you have a foe incapacitated, he's exploiting that work ruthlessly. His shouted orders grab attention firmly, but aren't demeaning. He's never in your way, and somehow, you're never in his. Your heat-purges somehow time to his breathing. The sense-obliterating chaos of violence falls into a tempo and you work together in a way that's unique among all other times you've been in combat.
